Can you imagine living your entire life trying to chase the purpose of your existence? I consider myself one of the lucky ones. I think I always knew my purpose, even though at a young age, I had difficulty articulating it. By the time I reached college, I knew I wanted to leave each place, each relationship, each chapter, in better shape than it had been when I arrived. I knew that my purpose was to create meaning by serving others. After receiving my master's degree in counseling psychology, I felt I was turning that chase into a more defined path.
That path led me first to a job as a probation officer in Dallas. I then transitioned into a psychology professor at North Central Texas College. Remaining purpose-driven, teaching created a path for me as a pregnancy risk counselor. Years in these rewarding fields gave me the thirst for serving others in the next chapter of life. One of the most emotional transactions a person will make is buying/selling a home.
My journey taught me vital attributes that I use each day as a real estate agent. From the first position I took as a probation officer, I committed myself to others. It was here that I was able to present myself as a symbol of security and hope for not only crime victims but also offenders under probation. From the position as a professor, I was able to teach students how to see the world through a variety of lenses, so that they too could improve and serve others. From my position as a pregnancy risk counselor, I learned humility. Here is where I served as a calm in the middle of a storm. Each of these lessons of serving has made me a better real estate agent.
Being a real estate agent is my dream job. Buying and selling a home is not only one of the most significant transactions you will make, but it is also one of the most stressful decisions you will make. This is where I work hard to serve my clients. My experience allows me to be a symbol of security and confidence for my clients. My grit allows me to approach the entire real estate process carefully and systematically, looking at issues that arise through multiple lenses. Buying/selling a home can be a stressful transaction; I will serve as a calm in the storm. I strive very hard to be as informative and available as possible for each of my clients. Real estate is not a job I take lightly. I have worked very hard to become a well-known North Texas real estate agent. Always having the desire to grow and improve, I earned my Broker Associate License in 2016. Outside of all the certifications, awards, and memberships, I am still the girl that set out to serve my purpose, and that purpose is serving you. I want to be the last agent you ever call, with a relationship that extends well past closing!
